Overview
Play4 is Connecticut’s four-digit numbers game. Choose four digits from 0–9, a play type and a wager from 50¢ to $5. A $1 Straight pays $5,000 (1 in 10,000). Drawings are twice a day: Day at 1:57 p.m. ET and Night at 10:29 p.m. ET.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 4 numbers
Choose 4 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose your play type
Straight (exact order), Box (any order), Straight/Box (half of each, in even dollar amounts), a Front, Split or Back Pair, or Combo, which covers every order of your digits.
4. Add Wild Ball (optional)
Wild Ball doubles the cost of the ticket. After each drawing a Wild Ball digit is drawn and can replace one of the winning digits, creating more winning combinations.
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.

Prizes shown for a $1 play without Wild Ball; 50¢ plays pay half and wagers up to $5 multiply the prize. Straight/Box ($1: 50¢ Straight + 50¢ Box) pays $3,125 / $2,917 / $2,708 / $2,604 in exact order. Wild Ball doubles the cost and pays its own prize table.
