Overview
Lotto America is a multi-state jackpot game sold in Iowa, a founding member of the original 1988 game: pick five numbers from 1–52 plus a Star Ball from 1–10 for $1. The jackpot grows until someone matches all five plus the Star Ball. Drawings are every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at about 9:15 p.m. CT.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 5 numbers
Choose 5 numbers from 1 to 52, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 1 to 10. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Play up to 10 drawings
Check the multi-draw box to play the same numbers for up to 10 consecutive drawings. Sales close at 8:59 p.m. on drawing nights.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $1 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
