Overview
Pick 4 is Kentucky’s four-digit numbers game. Choose four digits from 0–9, a play type and a wager from 50¢. A $1 Straight pays $5,000 (1 in 10,000). Drawings are twice a day: Midday at about 1:20 p.m. ET and Evening at about 11:00 p.m. ET.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 4 numbers
Choose 4 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Choose your play type
Straight (exact order), Box (any order) or Straight/Box ($1: 50¢ Straight + 50¢ Box).
3. Pick Midday, Evening or both
Play the next drawing, Midday, Evening or both, for one or several consecutive drawings.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
