Overview
Pick 3 is Louisiana’s three-digit numbers game. Choose three digits from 0–9, a play type and a wager of 50¢, $1 or $5. A $1 Straight pays $500 (1 in 1,000). Drawings are every day at 9:59 p.m. CT, except Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 3 numbers
Choose 3 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Choose your play type
Straight (exact order), Box (any order), Straight/Box ($1 or $5, half Straight and half Box) or Combo, which covers every order of your digits at a Straight prize.
3. Play up to 14 drawings
Multidraw covers up to 14 consecutive drawings, and Advance Play starts up to six days ahead.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.

Prizes shown for a $1 play; 50¢ plays pay half, and $5 plays are also offered with larger prizes. Straight/Box ($1 or $5) splits the bet: $330 (3-way) or $290 (6-way) in exact order, $80 or $40 in any order. Triples (like 333) only win Straight.
