Overview
Pick 3 is Minnesota’s three-digit numbers game. Choose three digits from 0–9, a bet type and a bet from 50¢ to $5. A $1 Straight pays $500 (1 in 1,000). Drawings are every day at about 6:17 p.m. CT.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 3 numbers
Choose 3 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Choose one of eight bet types
Straight (exact order), 3-Way or 6-Way Box (any order), Straight/Box, Front Pair, Back Pair or First Digit. A Quick Pick is a $1 Straight/Box: 50¢ Straight and 50¢ Box.
3. Choose your bet amount
Play slips offer 50¢ and $1; ask the clerk to key in a larger bet, up to $5. Prizes scale with the bet.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
