How to Play Pick 3

Overview
Pick 3 is Missouri’s three-digit numbers game. Choose three digits from 0–9 and a play type (Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair, Back Pair, or Combo) for 50¢ or $1. A $1 Straight pays $600 (1 in 1,000). Drawings are twice a day, every day: Midday around 12:45 p.m. and Evening around 8:59 p.m. CT. Wild Ball is an optional add-on that doubles the cost of your play.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 3 numbers
Choose 3 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose your play type
Straight must match in exact order. Box wins in any order. Straight/Box splits a $1 play between both. Front Pair or Back Pair matches the first or last two digits in order. Combo buys every order of your digits for a Straight win.
4. Add Wild Ball (optional)
A Wild Ball digit is drawn right after each Pick 3 drawing and can replace any one of the three winning digits to create more winning combinations. You can win several Wild Ball prizes on the same play.
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
