Overview
Pick 4 is Missouri’s four-digit numbers game. Choose four digits from 0–9 and a play type (Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front 3, Back 3, Front/Middle/Back Pair, or Combo) for 50¢ or $1. A $1 Straight pays $6,000 (1 in 10,000). Drawings are twice a day, every day: Midday around 12:45 p.m. and Evening around 8:59 p.m. CT. Wild Ball is an optional add-on that doubles the cost of your play.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 4 numbers
Choose 4 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose your play type
Straight must match in exact order. Box pays by how many digits repeat (4-way, 6-way, 12-way, or 24-way). Front 3 or Back 3 matches three digits in order, and Front, Middle or Back Pair matches two. Combo buys every order of your digits for a Straight win.
4. Add Wild Ball (optional)
A Wild Ball digit is drawn right after each Pick 4 drawing and can replace any one of the four winning digits to create more winning combinations.
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
