Overview
Jersey Cash 5 is New Jersey’s daily 5/45 jackpot game. Each $2 play picks five numbers from 1–45 and includes BULLSEYE (the fifth number drawn). Optional XTRA ($1 more) multiplies non-jackpot prizes up to 5X. Draws are nightly at about 10:57 p.m. ET; buy before 10:53 p.m.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 5 numbers
Choose 5 numbers from 1 to 45, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Pick five from 1–45
Mark five numbers on a playslip or use Quick Pick. Multi-draw covers up to 21 consecutive drawings.
3. Add XTRA (optional)
For $1 more per play, XTRA multiplies non-jackpot and BULLSEYE prizes by 2X–5X. It does not multiply the jackpot.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $2 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
