Millionaire for Life is New Jersey’s daily $5 multi-state game: pick five numbers from 1–58 plus one Millionaire Ball from 1–5. Top prize is $1,000,000 a year for life; second prize is $100,000 a year for life. Both include a 20-year guarantee and published cash options. Draws are nightly at about 11:15 p.m. ET.

How to play — step by step

  1. 1. Select 5 numbers

    Choose 5 numbers from 1 to 58, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.

  2. 2. Select 1 bonus number

    Choose 1 bonus number from 1 to 5. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.

  3. 3. Pick the Millionaire Ball

    Choose one number from 1–5. It is drawn from its own pool and may match one of your main numbers.

  4. 4. Multi-draw (optional)

    Play the same numbers for up to 21 consecutive drawings.

  5. 5. Choose how many drawings

    Pay $5 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
