How to Play Pick-3

Overview
Pick-3 is New Jersey’s three-digit daily numbers game. Pick three digits from 0–9 and choose Straight, Box, Wheel, Pair, or Straight/Box. Midday and evening drawings run every day. FIREBALL (optional) doubles the wager and replaces one drawn digit for more ways to win.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 3 numbers
Choose 3 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose a bet type
Straight matches exact order. Box wins in any order. Wheel covers all Straight combinations. Pair bets cover Front, Back, or Split pairs.
4. Add FIREBALL (optional)
FIREBALL doubles the cost of the play and creates extra winning combinations by swapping one drawn digit with the FIREBALL number.
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
