17 LUCKY LOTTERY PLAYERS WIN MORE THAN $5.4 MILLION WITH “PLAY IT AGAIN!”

STATEWIDE – When asked what she will do with an incredible $3 million prize won when her Tennessee Lottery ticket was drawn in the recent “VIP Play It Again!” drawing, a lucky Maryville resident simply said: “Let it sink in!”

That’s right—Carolyn M. won the big prize by entering a non-winning Jumbo Bucks Bonus ticket at tnviprewards.com. In addition to telling Lottery President and CEO Rebecca Paul how shocked, excited and stunned she was, the trucking company operator said she would pay bills, purchase a new vehicle and save.

Rachel D. of Cookeville, a medical lab technician who won $1 million by entering a non-winning Double Diamond Spectacular instant ticket, was also “very moved” and in disbelief about her good fortune. Rachel shared that she plans to buy a house.

Play It Again! offers another chance to win a top prize from an eligible non-winning instant ticket. When players enter their eligible non-winning instant tickets into the Lottery’s VIP Rewards program for points, those tickets are also automatically entered into Play It Again! When that game is included in a Play It Again! drawing, the once non-winning ticket could become a top prize winner. Drawings are held multiple times per year. The program also deters litter by adding value to a ticket that might otherwise be thrown away improperly.

Prizes for this recent drawing ranged from $5,000 to $3 million. “I’m going to add this to my savings for a trip to Tahiti!” said Robert B. of Christiana, who won $5,000 by entering a non-winning Neon 9s ticket. “It’s a great way to win.”

“This is unreal!” exclaimed Crystal H. of Sale Creek, who won $20,000 by entering a non-winning Jumbo Bucks 20^th Anniversary Edition ticket. She said she plans to immediately take care of much-needed car repairs.
