CHICAGO, October 29, 2026 — A multimillion-dollar payday awaits a lucky Illinois Lotto player after matching all six numbers in Monday, October 26 drawing to score the game’s $7.4 million jackpot.
The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at a BP gas station, located at 6751 W. Archer Ave. in Chicago. The winning numbers were 6-12-13-14-30-42. The ticket also matched two out of six numbers on another line, winning an additional $2.
Abraham, manager of the Archer BP, said he was thrilled to learn his store had sold the winning ticket.
“I can’t believe it — it’s so exciting to have a jackpot-winning ticket sold right here at our store. I hope it was one of our regulars,” said Abraham. “I’ve been the manager for nearly 20 years. We sold a $100,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket a few months ago, so this seems to be our lucky year.”
For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, the Archer BP will receive a $74,000 bonus, equal to 1% of the total prize amount.
“We’re excited to see this kind of win happen right here in our community,” said Abraham. “You never know when a stop at your neighborhood gas station might turn into something life-changing.”
The $7.4 million prize is the third-largest Lotto jackpot won this year. Previous wins include an $11.6 million jackpot-winning ticket sold at a True North in Bartlett for the January 24 drawing and a $10.25 million jackpot-winning ticket sold at a Tony’s Fresh Market in Chicago for the August 1 drawing.
In another big win on Monday night, a lucky player matched all six numbers in the Lotto Million 2 drawing to win the $1 million prize. The winning numbers were 14-18-20-21-27-31.
The winning ticket was purchased at Route 3 Fuel and Liquor, located at 2401 Mississippi Ave. in Sauget. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus, equal to 1% of the total prize amount.
Winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. The Illinois Lottery encourages the lucky winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prizes.
So far this year, Illinois Lottery players have claimed nearly 5 million winning Lotto tickets, with total prizes exceeding $60.5 million.
Lotto is an Illinois-only game that is played three times a week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Tickets can be purchased in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app.
