Official release
KINGMAN, Ariz. (Sept. 29, 2026) – The Arizona Lottery is expanding access to prize claim services for players across northern Arizona, removing weekday claim limits at its Kingman Claim Center and giving winners the same convenience they already have at the Lottery’s Phoenix and Tucson locations.
The expanded service is particularly significant for communities throughout northern Arizona, including Kingman, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, the Arizona Strip and surrounding areas. In fiscal year 2026 alone, the Kingman Claim Center processed approximately 6,000 claims and paid out more than $1.5 million in prizes.
Based on fiscal year 2026 claim activity, approximately 135 winners annually would previously have needed to travel to Phoenix or Tucson to claim prizes exceeding the Kingman location’s former limits of $50,000 for Draw Games and $100,000 for Scratchers®.
“The Kingman Claim Center is vital to serving players across northern Arizona and from our neighboring states who win big with the Arizona Lottery,” said Alec Thomson, Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery. “Our expanded claims center offers winners from surrounding areas a seamless claims process closer to home, and the chance to continue their lottery fun with support from our Kingman team. We're proud to deepen our roots in Mohave County and strengthen our partnership with our value retail partners at Walmart with this expansion as we work to invest in a stronger Arizona."
The Claim Center recently moved into a larger, renovated space within the same Walmart location on Stockton Hill Road. Since its soft opening on Aug. 3, the location has already processed two $100,000 winning tickets from Mohave County, as well as a $2.4 million prize sold at a Maverik in Littlefield, AZ.
Mohave County is also an important part of the Arizona Lottery’s statewide retailer network. The county is home to 229 Lottery retailers, which generated approximately $75.1 million in sales during fiscal year 2026, representing 6.4% of statewide Lottery sales.
Arizona Lottery proceeds support programs that serve residents throughout Mohave County and northern Arizona, including Health Start, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, Court Appointed Special Advocates and other health, human services, public safety and community programs.
The Kingman Claim Center is now open to the public with expanded weekday claim capabilities. Saturday claim limits remain $100,000 for Scratchers and $50,000 for Draw Games.
