Fifth Winning $50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold in Wisconsin During October

MADISON, Wis. -- The trend of Wisconsin Powerball luck is showing no signs of slowing down after a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Piggly Wiggly on 1414 E. Geneva St. in Delavan for the Monday, October 19, 2026, drawing. The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (8-31-32-42-48) and the Powerball (23).

While no player won the game's jackpot, Monday's win marks the fifth time a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket has been sold in Wisconsin in October.

The estimated Powerball jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is $635 million. It is the second largest Powerball jackpot offered in 2026.

The Delavan Piggly Wiggly has a long history of selling winning Lotto tickets. Previously, the store sold three Badger 5 jackpot tickets, two $50,000 Powerball tickets, and a $100,000 All or Nothing ticket.

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also check to see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play. The odds to win the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338 while the odds to win a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130.

The odds of winning the Badger 5 jackpot are 1:169,911 while the odds of winning the $100,000 All or Nothing top prize are 1:352,716.
