“I feel rich,” she told lottery officials.
She says she was putting gas in her car at the Refuel on Manning Rd. in Sumter when she decided to take a chance on a $10 scratch-off. She picked out a Gold Vault Extra Play! ticket that beat the odds of more than 1 in a million to win her $500,000.
“It’s amazing,” she said.
The winner, who does not wish to be identified, did not share her plans for the windfall.
