Why Zoltar?
For decades, Zoltar has captured imaginations with mysterious predictions and a larger-than-life personality. That sense of curiosity and possibility makes him a natural companion for a lottery game, where every ticket begins with a simple question: What if?
While no one can predict the future, Zoltar invites players to enjoy the fun, anticipation, and entertainment that come with discovering what fortune awaits.
“Zoltar celebrates the mystery of what comes next, making him the perfect fit for this Lottery game,” said David Barden, CEO of the New Mexico Lottery. “Whether players recognize him from years past or are discovering him for the first time, we think they’ll enjoy the nostalgia, personality, and fun that Zoltar brings. It’s an entertaining experience that also helps support New Mexico students.”
Supporting New Mexico Students
Since 1996, the New Mexico Lottery has raised more than $1.1 billion for public education. Those proceeds have helped provide Legislative Lottery Scholarships to more than 161,000 New Mexico students, making higher education more accessible across the state.
