Overview
Cash 5 is North Carolina’s daily rolling-jackpot game: pick five numbers from 1–43 for $1. The jackpot starts at $100,000 and grows until it is won. Drawings are every night at 11:22 p.m. ET. You can add Double Play ($1) for a second drawing and EZ Match ($1) for an instant win.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 5 numbers
Choose 5 numbers from 1 to 43, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Add Double Play (optional)
For $1 more, your Cash 5 numbers are entered into a second drawing with its own prize chart. The Double Play top prize is $50,000 for matching all five numbers.
3. Add EZ Match (optional)
For $1 more, the terminal prints five EZ Match numbers. Match any of them to one of your Cash 5 numbers to win that printed amount instantly, up to $500.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $1 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
