Overview
Millionaire for Life is North Carolina’s $5 daily game: pick five numbers from 1–58 plus one green Millionaire Ball from 1–5. Matching all five plus the Millionaire Ball wins $1,000,000 a year for life; matching the five white balls wins $100,000 a year for life. Drawings are nightly at about 11:15 p.m. ET.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 5 numbers
Choose 5 numbers from 1 to 58, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 1 to 5. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Pick the Millionaire Ball
Choose one number from 1–5. It is drawn from its own pool and defines the two top “for life” prize levels.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $5 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
