How to Play Pick 5
Overview
Pick 5 is Ohio’s five-digit daily game. Pick five digits from 0–9 with Straight, Box (5-way through 120-way), Back-up, Pair, and Front/Back partial plays. Wagers start at $0.50 — Straight pays $25,000 on $1 (1 in 100,000). Midday at 12:29 p.m. ET and evening at 7:29 p.m. ET.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 5 numbers
Choose 5 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Many Box ways
Box prizes vary by digit pattern (5-way, 10-way, 20-way, 30-way, 60-way, or 120-way). The playslip or retailer can show which tier applies to your numbers.
3. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
