How to Play Pick 3

Overview
PICK 3 is Pennsylvania’s three-digit daily numbers game. Pick three digits from 0–9 and a play type (Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Super Straight, Front Pair, Back Pair). Wagers are 50¢ or $1 — a Straight hit pays $250 on 50¢ and $500 on $1 (1 in 1,000). Draws are Day after 1:35 p.m. and Evening at 6:59 p.m. ET. Wild Ball is an optional add-on.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 3 numbers
Choose 3 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose Straight, Box, or Pair
Straight is exact order. Box is any order (3-way or 6-way depending on repeated digits). Front or Back Pair matches the first or last two digits in order.
4. Add Wild Ball (optional)
For an extra cost, Wild Ball draws one digit from 0–9. Substituting it for one of your digits can win the Wild Ball prize chart (for example Straight Wild Ball pays $200 on a $1 base play).
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $1 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
