Overview
PICK 5 is Pennsylvania’s five-digit daily numbers game. Pick five digits from 0–9 and a play type (Straight, Box, Front/Back Four, Front/Back Three, Front/Back Pair). A Straight hit pays $50,000 at odds of 1 in 100,000. Draws are Day after 1:35 p.m. and Evening at 6:59 p.m. ET. Wild Ball is an optional add-on.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 5 numbers
Choose 5 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose a play type
Straight is exact order. Box payouts depend on how digits repeat (5-way through 120-way). Partial plays (Front/Back Four, Three, or Pair) match only part of the draw in order.
4. Add Wild Ball (optional)
Wild Ball draws one digit from 0–9. Using it in place of one of your digits can win the Wild Ball chart (Straight Wild Ball pays $12,000).
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $1 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
