Overview
The Numbers is Rhode Island’s digits game, drawn twice daily at 1:30 p.m. (Midday) and 7:29 p.m. (Evening) ET. Choose four digits from 0–9 and bet from 50¢ to $5. On a 50¢ bet, a 4-digit Straight win pays $2,500.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 4 numbers
Choose 4 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Choose game length and bet type
The play slip lets you play 4-digit, 3-digit, Back 3, or 2-digit wagers. Mark Straight (exact order), Box (any order), or Combo (Straight + Box, costing twice the wager).
3. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
