How to Play Pick 4

Overview
Pick 4 Plus FIREBALL is South Carolina’s four-digit numbers game. Choose four digits from 0000–9999 and a play type (Straight, Box, Straight/Box, or Combo) for 50¢ or $1. A $1 Straight pays $5,000 (1 in 10,000). Drawings are twice a day — Midday at 12:59 p.m. ET (Monday–Saturday) and Evening at 6:59 p.m. ET (every day). FIREBALL is an optional add-on that doubles the cost.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 4 numbers
Choose 4 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose Straight, Box, or Combo
Straight is the same sequence. Box payouts depend on repeated digits (4-way, 6-way, 12-way, or 24-way). Straight/Box splits a $1 play between both. Combo buys every order as Straight plays.
4. Add FIREBALL (optional)
The same FIREBALL number drawn for Pick 3 can replace any one of the four drawn digits for more combinations. Adding FIREBALL doubles the cost of your play.
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
