Overview
Texas Pick 3 is a three-digit game ($0.50 or $1) with Exact Order (Straight), Any Order (Box), Exact/Any, and Combo play types. Four drawings run Monday–Saturday (Morning, Day, Evening, Night). Optional FIREBALL doubles the board cost and uses a separate prize chart.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 3 numbers
Choose 3 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Select 1 bonus number
Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.
3. Choose a play type
Exact Order must match in order ($500 on a $1 play). Any Order wins in any order: 3-way $160 or 6-way $80 on a $1 play. Exact/Any and Combo are also on the official chart.
4. Optional FIREBALL
Mark FIREBALL to double the board cost. After the Pick 3 drawing, one FIREBALL digit (0–9) can replace any one drawn digit to create extra winning combinations. FIREBALL prizes are on a separate official chart — not shown in the base prize table here.
5. Choose how many drawings
Pay $0.50 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.

Amounts shown are for a $1 Exact Order (Straight) / Any Order (Box) play on the official Pick 3 + FIREBALL prize chart (texaslottery.com; consulted 27 Oct 2026). $0.50 plays pay half on Straight/Box where offered. Exact/Any (Straight/Box) is a $1 ticket splitting 50¢ exact + 50¢ any-order. Optional FIREBALL doubles the board cost and has a separate prize chart — not modeled in this base table or the number checker yet.
