Cash 5 is Virginia’s daily $1 jackpot game: pick five numbers from 1–45. The jackpot starts at $200,000 and grows until it is won. Draws every night at 11 p.m. ET. Optional EZ Match ($1 extra) prints five instant-win numbers with prizes up to $500.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 5 numbers
Choose 5 numbers from 1 to 45, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Add EZ Match (optional)
For $1 more per play, the terminal prints five EZ Match numbers with prize amounts. Match any EZ Match number to one of your Cash 5 numbers and win that prize instantly (top EZ Match prize $500).
3. Choose how many drawings
Pay $1 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
