How to Play Daily 3

Overview
California Daily 3 is a three-digit game. Pick three digits from 0–9. A play costs $1. Straight must match in exact order (1 in 1,000). Box matches in any order (1 in 167 with three different digits, or 1 in 333 with a pair). Prizes are pari-mutuel. Draws happen twice a day.
How to play — step by step
1. Select 3 numbers
Choose 3 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.
2. Choose Straight, Box, or Straight/Box
Straight is exact order. Box is any order. Straight/Box splits the $1 wager: exact order pays half Straight plus half Box; any order pays half the Box prize only.
3. Mark Advance Play (optional)
Play the same numbers and playstyle for 1–7 or 14 consecutive draws. Because there are two draws per day, 14 consecutive draws cover seven days.
4. Choose how many drawings
Pay $1 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.
