How to Play Pick 5

$1Daily5 × [09] + 1 × [0–9]

Overview

Florida Pick 5 is a twice-daily numbers game. Choose five digits from 0–9 and a play type (Straight, Box, or Straight/Box). A $1 Straight hit pays $50,000. FIREBALL is an optional extra that can replace one winning digit.

How to play — step by step

  1. 1. Select 5 numbers

Choose 5 numbers from 0 to 9, or mark Quick Pick and let the terminal choose.

  2. 2. Select 1 bonus number

Choose 1 bonus number from 0 to 9. This ball is drawn separately from the main numbers.

  3. 3. Choose a play type

Straight wins only in exact order. Box wins in any order (payout depends on repeating digits). Straight/Box splits the wager.

  4. 4. Add FIREBALL (optional)

FIREBALL doubles the price of the base play and applies to every panel. The FIREBALL digit can replace one official winning digit.

  5. 5. Choose how many drawings

Pay $1 per play (add-ons cost extra). Tell the retailer how many consecutive drawings you want, or mark Advance Play on the slip.

Responsible play tips

  • Straight is the highest prize and the longest odds (1 in 100,000 on five digits).
  • Box payouts drop when digits repeat because there are fewer unique combinations.
  • Midday and evening are separate; mark both if you want both drawings.
