TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The excitement continues to build as the Mega Millions® jackpot has climbed to an estimated $743 million for the Friday, July 24, 2026, drawing, making it the 10th largest Mega Millions jackpot in game history.

The jackpot has continued to grow after no ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing. Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET, and players have the opportunity to purchase tickets through the closure of ticket sales in their jurisdiction prior to the drawing.

"As excitement builds across the country, we encourage our players to enjoy the anticipation that comes with one of the largest jackpots in Mega Millions history," said Florida Lottery Secretary Reginald D. Dixon. "Whether you're dreaming big or simply enjoying the fun of the game, remember to play responsibly. Every Mega Millions ticket sold in Florida also supports education through the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, making every play meaningful."

Mega Millions has been creating millionaire moments and record-breaking jackpots for nearly three decades. The game launched in 1996 as the Big Game with six participating lotteries before becoming Mega Millions in 2002. Today, Mega Millions is offered in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with drawings conducted twice weekly in Atlanta, Georgia.

Florida joined Mega Millions in May 2013, giving players another opportunity to enjoy one of America's most popular multi-state jackpot games while generating additional funding for education. Since its introduction in Florida, Mega Millions has produced numerous Florida jackpot winners, including the game's largest jackpot ever—a $1.602 billion prize won in Neptune Beach in August 2023.
