New Holiday Scratch-offs Offer Chance to Win a Dream Vacation

The holidays have arrived early at the Maryland Lottery with the launch of six new holiday-themed scratch-offs today, along with a second-chance promotion offering cash prizes and a new dream vacation prize.

Holiday scratch-offs offer instant-win prizes ranging up to $100,000, and non-winning tickets can be entered into My Lottery Rewards to earn entries into the second-chance promotion.

Six lucky second-chance winners will be randomly selected to win a dream vacation, where each winner will have a budget of $30,000 and will work with a travel planner to customize their own unique trip. The location, number of guests and activities will be up to the winner! They can choose to fly around the world or drive to the nearest resort. The Lottery will pay the estimated state and federal taxes for the dream vacation prizes.

Throughout the second-chance promotion, an additional 48 winners will be randomly selected to win $5,000 prizes, and the promotion will also award one winner of $10,000. Twelve weekly drawings will be held from Oct. 27 to Jan. 13. The second-chance entries are cumulative and will be carried over after each drawing.

Here’s a rundown of the holiday scratch-offs that hit stores today:

• $1 Cozy Cash with a top prize of $500
• $2 Season’s Greetings with a top prize of $10,00
• $3 Peppermint Payout with a top prize of $30,000 (ticket is scented!)
• $5 Holly-Day Cash with a top prize of $50,000
• $10 Winter Multiplier with a top prize of $100,000
• $20 Win $100, $200 or $500 is loaded with 71 million prizes of $100, $200 or $500.

Holiday FAST PLAY games will launch on Nov. 2, and will also be eligible for entries in the second-chance promotion. The FAST PLAY tickets are: $1 Jingle Jangle, $5 Merry Money Multiplier and $10 Holiday Countdown.
